Phase 1: Foundation Building

What to expect: Fitness assessment, goal setting, conditioning, core stability, agility, flexibility, and mobility training tailored to growing hockey players.

In Phase 1 of Toronto Hockey Academy’s Summer Dryland Training Program, the focus is on assessing and enhancing overall physical fitness, establishing a baseline for strength, agility, and endurance. Athletes will participate in dynamic warm-ups, core stability exercises, and introductory fitness sessions aimed at building a solid base for the more specialized training to follow. Mental conditioning and nutrition planning will be introduced alongside team-building activities, laying the groundwork for a holistic approach to player development. 

Phase 2: Specialized Training 

July 1 - August 23, 2025

24 Sessions 

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 

4:00pm - 7:20 pm (3 groups sessions, from 4-5pm, 5:10-6:10pm, 6:20-7:20pm)

What to expect: Advanced strength & conditioning, progressive resistance training, plyometrics and interval training tailored to growing hockey players. 

As the program advances into Phase 2, players experience a heightened level of intensity and specialization. Strength and conditioning drills become more advanced, incorporating progressive resistance and plyometric exercises to enhance power and explosiveness. Speed and agility training progresses, incorporating complex footwork patterns and sprint drills to improve acceleration. Mental toughness is honed through pressure scenarios. 

Cost: 

Phase 1: 16 x $50.00 = $800.00 (+HST)

Phase 2: 24 x $50.00 = $1200 (+HST)

Pre Register for both Phase 1 & 2 and receive a reduced rate of $40.00 per session. Total cost, $1600 (+HST) for 40 sessions
